Garlic chutney | Lasoon Chutney


Ingredients:
  • Peeled large Garlic cloves- 12-13
  • Red chili powder- half cup
  • Salt- 1tsp
  • Oil- 2tbsp
Recipe:
  1. Peel the Garlic cloves.
  2. Add salt and pound it.(pound it until garlic cloves turn into smooth paste)
  3. Add Red Chili Powder and pound it again for few mins.
  4. Garlic dry chutney is ready.

Note: We can also make same chutney by using Food processor or mixture grinder. Mix all the ingredients into the mixture jar and grind them coarsely.

  1. Heat 2-3 tbsp oil on medium-slow flame. once oil is hot add dry garlic chutney and mix well.
  2. cook the mixture on slow flame for a min.
  3. once oil separates turn off the gas.
  4. Garlic chutney is ready.

Banana Chilly Raita






INGREDIENTS:

  • Oil- 1tbsp
  • Jeera/Cumin seeds- 1tspCurry
  • leaves-3-4
  • Dried Red Chilly-2
  • Chaat Masala- ½tsp
  • Sugar-1tsp
  • Amchoor powder/Dried mango powder- ½tsp
  • Roasted Jeera/Cumin powder-1tsp
  • Salt-1tsp
  • Coriander-1tbsp
  • Onion-1
  • smallGinger-1tsp
  • Greenchilly-1tsp
  • Ripe Banana-1
  • Curd/yogurt- 1 cup




Recipe:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add jeera /cumin seeds – sauté it, then add Curry leaves and dried chilly and sauté.
  2. Add chopped Ginger and green chilly, cook it for a min.
  3. Add chopped onion into it and cook for 2-3 mins
  4. Add salt and coriander leaves and chopped banana -mix well
  5. Transfer the mixture into a bowl – add curd/yogurt into the mixture.
  6. Add chaat masala, sugar, salt, dried mango/amchoor, roasted cumin powder,and coriander leaves and mix everything.
  7. serve it cold.
